Foreword - by the founders
Through the encouragement and support of our cause-related partners, it is believed that the Business to Business Foundation will blossom into an organisation which thrives on new ideas and seeks innovative ways to make a difference in the lives of those in need.
As a victim in our professional lives, having escaped ourselves an unjust catalogue of persecution aimed at our previous company and - as we feel - at the dignity of our family and ourselves - and having found the United States, Southern Ireland and presently the United Kingdom as wonderful countries where we have found exile from arrest, having committed no criminal act, we see an absolute necessity to deal with the victims in similar situations like ours just by offering funding to enable them to fight for survival and the bond of their family union.
While victimised business families always remain our priority, this year at the beginning of a new Millennium we wanted to broaden our focus and dedicate our time and resources to increase public awareness and secure major funding for various issues affecting today's entrepreneurs and especially those enterprises that are owned and/or managed by women. Our beneficiaries, the heads of the Irish Society of Saint Vincent de Paul and the UK-based Salvation Army are united in their endeavours to help the poor and underprivileged, and we are looking forward to work together in unity and for the blessing of many.
Our desires are shared with a wonderful partner; several others will follow, all of them inspire and encourage us to continue our project. We express our sincere appreciation to Mr. Keith Harris, our family's friend and the editorial manager of the Ireland-based international news service Newsmedianews (www.newsmedianews.com).
